STATUTORY RULES
REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1934.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

33. The annual rates of pay and of incremental advancement by subdivisions for Ordnance Mechanical Engineers shall be in accordance with the following table:—

“(iv) Notwithstanding anything in this regulation, a member of the Militia Forces who—
(
a ) is evacuated from a school or course through illness;(
b ) is granted approval to leave the school or course for reasons of urgency arising during its progress; or

c ) is unable to report at the commencement of the school or course owing to reasons beyond his control,
and is thus prevented from completing the ten working days may be paid the allowance prescribed by sub-regulation (i) of this regulation for the actual number of working days attended, subject to the production of a medical certificate in case of illness or of adequate documentary evidence in case of other reasons, and of a satisfactory report by the Chief Instructor as to the member’s work.”.

b )by omitting the word “sub-paragraph” and inserting in its stead the word “regulation”.
