1964. No. 166.

REGULATIONS UNDER DEFENCE ACT 1903-1964.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1964.

Amendments of the Military Financial Regulations 

Consolidated rates of pay.

1. Regulation 10 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words “Six thousand one hundred and fifty” and inserting in their stead the words “Seven thousand seven hundred and fifty”.

Second Schedule.

2. The Second Schedule to the Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from Table 7 the words and figures—

“Sergeant—

With less than one year’s service in the rank ......................................

Application.

3.—(1.) The amendment of regulation 10 of the Military Financial Regulations effected by regulation 1 of these Regulations applies in relation to service of the office of Chief of the General Staff on and after the first day of November, 1964.

(2.) The amendment of the Second Schedule to the Military Financial Regulations effected by the last preceding regulation applies in relation to service of a native member in the rank of Warrant Officer, Class II. on and after the third day of December, 1964.
