REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1964.*

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1964.

Amendment of the Military Financial Regulations  .

Members other than General officers.

Regulation 11 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (8.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—

“(8.) The rate of pay of a member who is a student at the Officer Cadet School or an Officer Training Unit is—

(a) the rate per day specified in Table 1 in relation to a member holding the rank of corporal and the classification Group 1; or

(b)the rate per day specified in that Table in relation to a member holding the rank and classification (if any) held by the member immediately before he became such a student,

whichever is the greater.”.
