Migration Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Migration Act 1958.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Migration Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Regulation 34aa (Time limit for making application for certain classes of visa and entry permit)

2.1 Subregulation 34aa (2):

Omit “after 1 August”, substitute “after 2 August”.

2.2 Subregulation 34aa (2):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

3. Regulation 47 (Business (general) visa)

3.1 Paragraph 47 (4) (a):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

3.2 Subparagraph 47 (4) (b) (i):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

4. Regulation 48 (Business (joint venture) visa)

4.1 Paragraph 48 (4) (a):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

4.2 Subparagraph 48 (4) (b) (i):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

5. Regulation 128 (Extended eligibility (economic) entry permit)

5.1 Subparagraph 128 (3) (b) (i):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

5.2 Sub-subparagraph 128 (3) (b) (ii) (A):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

6.Regulation 139 (Skilled occupation entry permit)

6.1 Subparagraph 139 (3) (b) (i):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.

6.2 Sub-subparagraph 139 (3) (b) (ii) (A):

Omit “before 2 August”, substitute “before 3 August”.
