Migration Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Migration Act 1958.

1. Amendment
1.1 The Migration Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.

2. Regulation 2.43 (Grounds for cancellation of visa
(Act, s. 116))
2.1 Subregulation 2.43(1 ):
Add at the end:
"; (e) in the case of the holder of an Electronic Travel Authority (Class UD) visa—that the grant of that visa has prejudiced the rights and interests of any person who has custody or guardianship of, or access to, the holder of that visa;
(f)
in the case of the holder of an Electronic Travel Authority (Class UD) visa who is under the age of 18 years and is not accompanied by his or her parent or guardian—that the holder of that visa does not have adequate funds, or adequate arrangements have not been made, for the holder's maintenance, support and general welfare during the holder's proposed visit in Australia.".
2.2 Subregulation 2.43 (2):
Omit the subregulation, substitute:
"(2) For the purposes of subsection 116 (3) of the Act (which deals with the circumstances in which the Minister must cancel a visa), each of the circumstances comprising the grounds set out in paragraphs (1) (a), (b) and (c) is prescribed as a circumstance in which a visa must be cancelled.".
