STATUTORY RULES
REGULATIONS UNDER THE MIGRATION ACT 1958-1966.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of the Migration Regulations
Regulation 12 of the Migration Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—
“(1.)
A person who attends to give evidence before a Commissioner shall, in respect
of that attendance, be paid such fees and travelling expenses as the Commissioner
thinks fit to allow in accordance with the scale in the Second Schedule to the
Public Works Committee Regulations as in force from time to time under the
