Migration Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Migration Act 1958.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1987.

Fees for entry permits

2. Regulation 29a of the Migration Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) “$35” and substituting “$50”; and

(b) by omitting from paragraph (1) (b) “$200” and substituting “$300”.

Fee for non-citizen conditional entry or entry visa

3. Regulation 29ab of the Migration Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from subregulation (2) “$150” and substituting “$225”;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (3) (a) “$40” and substituting “$60”; and

(c) by omitting from paragraph (3) (b) “$110” and substituting “$165”.
