Migration Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Migration Act 1958.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Migration Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Regulation 41 (Prescribed criteria—classes of visas)

2.1 Subregulation 41 (6):

Omit the subregulation, substitute:

“(6) Subsection 23 (5) of the Act does not apply to this regulation but this regulation ceases to have effect on 1 July 1992.”.

3. Regulation 42 (Prescribed criteria—entry permits)

3.1 Subregulation 42 (8):

Omit the subregulation, substitute:

“(8) Subsection 33 (5) of the Act does not apply to this regulation but this regulation ceases to have effect on 1 July 1992.”.
