CLASSES OF PERSONS
(PARAGRAPH 1218(3)(d))
I, PAULA WILLIAMS, Assistant Secretary, Education and Tourism Branch, Delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under paragraph 1218(3)(d) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
1. REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 11/055, signed on 18 August 2011, specifying classes of persons for the purposes of paragraph 1218(3)(d) of the Regulations; AND
2. SPECIFY the following classes of persons for the purposes of paragraph 1218(3)(d) of the Regulations:
(a) Persons who hold a passport issued by a country specified in column 2 of Schedule A and subject to the conditions (if any) specified in column 3 of Schedule A; and
(b) Persons who:
(i) hold a passport issued by a country specified in column 2 of Schedule B and subject to the conditions (if any) specified in column 3 of Schedule B; and
(ii) make their application through the services of an agent who is party to an agreement with Immigration to use an Internet facility for offshore tourist visa applications.
This Instrument, IMMI 11/086, commences on 15 February 2012.
