WORKING HOLIDAY MAKER VISA - POST OFFICE BOX ADDRESS

(REGULATION 1225(3)(a))

I, JOHN COBB, Acting Minister for Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs, acting under regulation 1.17 and paragraph 1225(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Migration Regulations 1994 ("the Regulations"):

SPECIFY the following address as the post office box address for the purposes of paragraph 1225(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations:

HOBART  TAS  7001

AUSTRALIA

This notice has effect on and from 1 November 2005.

[NOTE 1: Regulation 1.17 provides that the Minister may, by notice published in the Gazette, specify matters required by individual provisions of the Regulations to be specified for the purposes of those provisions.

NOTE 2:             Paragraph 1225(3)(a) provides that if an applicant has previously entered Australia on a Working Holiday Maker visa the application must be sent (with the correct pre-paid postage) to the post office box address specified in a Gazette Notice.]
