SKILLED OCCUPATIONS FOR SKILLS ASSESSMENTS
I, CHRIS EVANS, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraphs 1136(3)(bb)(ii) and 1229(3)(ab)(ii) of Schedule 1 and subclauses 175.211(1), 176.211(1) and 475.211(1) of Schedule 2 to the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
1. REVOKE Legislative Instrument IMMI 09/143 signed on 15 December 2009; AND
2. SPECIFY for the purposes of subclauses 175.211(1), 176.211(1) and 475.211(1) the occupations listed in the attached schedule, as skilled occupations.
This Instrument, IMMI 10/012, commences on 12 March 2010.

[NOTE 3: Subclauses 175.211(1), 176.211(1) and 475.211(1) provide that, if an applicant has nominated a skilled occupation, which is specified for this subclause, the applicant has been employed in the skilled occupation for at least 12 months in the period of 24 months ending immediately before the day on which the application was made.]
