SPECIFICATION OF OCCUPATIONS FOR THE TEMPORARY BUSINESS LONG STAY AND OCCUPATIONAL TRAINEE VISAS

(SUBPARAGRAPHS 2.72(10)(a) and 2.72I(5)(b))

I, CHRIS EVANS, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraphs 2.72(10)(a) and 2.72I(5)(b) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

  1. SPECIFY for the purposes of subparagraph 2.72(10)(a) of the Regulations, the occupations listed at Schedule A for Subclass 457 (Business (Long Stay)) visas; and

  1. SPECIFY for the purposes of subparagraph 2.72I(5)(b) of the Regulations, that the nominated occupational training in respect of a Subclass 442 (Occupational Trainee) visa must be in relation to an occupation listed at Schedule A or Schedule B.
