SPECIFICATION OF INCOME THRESHOLD AND ANNUAL EARNINGS

(Paragraphs 2.72(10)(cc) and 2.79(1A)(b) and subregulation 2.72(10AB))

I, BRENDAN O’CONNOR, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under paragraphs 2.72(10)(cc) and 2.79(1A)(b) and subregulation 2.72(10AB) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

  1. REVOKE Legislative Instrument IMMI 12/047 signed on 12 June 2012 specifying temporary skilled migration income threshold and annual earnings; AND

  1. SPECIFY, for the purposes of paragraph 2.72(10)(cc) of the Regulations, that the temporary skilled migration income threshold is AUD 53,900; AND

  1. SPECIFY, for the purposes of subregulation 2.72(10AB) and paragraph 2.79(1A)(b) of the Regulations, annual earnings of AUD 250,000.

This Instrument number IMMI 13/028 commences on 1 July 2013.
