ENTERTAINMENT VISA:
PERFORMING AT NON-COMMERCIAL FESTIVALS
(REGULATION 1205(2)(a)(ii)(B))
I, AMANDA VANSTONE, Minister for Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs, acting under regulation 1.17 and sub-subparagraph 1205(2)(a)(ii)(B) of the Migration Regulations 1994 ('the Regulations'):
1.REVOKE the instrument signed on 4 February 2003 for the purposes of sub-subparagraph 1205(2)(a)(ii)(B); and
2.SPECIFY the following festivals for the purposes of sub-subparagraph 1205(2)(a)(ii)(B) of the Regulations:

Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Adelaide Fringe Festival

NOTE 2: Sub-subparagraph 1205(2)(a)(ii)(B) provides that an applicant meets the requirements of this subparagraph if the purpose of the applicant's visit is to perform as an entertainer, or to assist in performances, and the applicant is sponsored to enter Australia for the purpose of performing at a festival specified by the Minister in a Gazette Notice for this sub-subparagraph.]
