CLASS OF PERSONS

(REGULATION 1223A(2)(a)(ix))

I, TERESA GAMBARO, Assistant Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subsubparagraph 1223A(2)(a)(ix) of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’), SPECIFY as a class of persons for the purposes of subsubparagraph 1223A(2)(a)(ix) of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, each person holding the kind of passport specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Instrument, subject to satisfying the conditions, if any, in column 3 for passports of that kind.

This Instrument, IMMI 07/035 commences immediately after the commencement of the Migration Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 4) on 1 July 2007.

[NOTE: Subsubparagraph 1223A(2)(a)(ix) of the Regulations provides that an applicant who is in a class of persons specified in an instrument in writing will have a nil Visa Application Charge.]
