ARRANGEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY WORK VISA APPLICATIONS 2015

(Items 1205, 1212B, 1217, 1232, 1233, 1234 and 1235)

I, MICHAELIA CASH, Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under subregulation 2.07(5) of  the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) for items 1205, 1212B, 1217, 1232, 1233, 1234 and 1235 of Schedule 1 to the Regulations:

  1. REVOKE instrument number IMMI 14/068 (F2014L01279) made on 19 September 2014, specifying the post office box address and the address for courier delivery for paragraph 1212B(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND

  2. REVOKE instrument number IMMI 14/069 (F2014L01280) made on 19 September 2014, specifying the post office box address and the address for courier delivery for the purposes of paragraph 1217(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND

  3. REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 14/084 (F2014L01284), signed on 10 September 2014, specifying classes of persons and addresses for paragraphs 1205(3)(a), 1233(3)(a) and 1235(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND

  4. SPECIFY, for subitem 1205(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the approved form  for a Special Program (Temporary)(Class TE) (Subclass 416) visa is:

    1416.

  5. SPECIFY, for paragraph 1205(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the place and manner for making an application for a Special Program (Temporary)(Class TE) (Subclass 416) visa:

Item 1232 Temporary Work (Long Stay Activity) (Class GB)

  1. SPECIFY, for subregulation 2.07(6) of Part 2 of the Regulations, the following classes of applicant and, for subitem 1232(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the following approved forms, and for paragraph 1232(3)(a) the following place and  manner for making an application for classes of applicants applying for a (Temporary Work (Long Stay Activity)) (Class GB) (Subclass 401) visa:

Item 1233 Training and Research (Class GC):

  1. SPECIFY, for subitem 1233(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the approved form is:

    Form 1402.

  2. SPECIFY, for paragraph 1233(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the place and manner for making an application for an applicant for a Training and Research (Class GC) (Subclass 402) visa:

    (a)        in the Research stream, who is in Australia at the time of application; or

    (b)        in the Professional Development stream; or

    (c)        in the Occupational Trainee stream:
