SPECIFICATION OF ADDRESSES FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUBPARAGRAPHS 1205(3)(ba)(i), (ii) AND (iii) OF THE MIGRATION REGULATIONS 1994

I, AMANDA VANSTONE, Minister for Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs, acting under regulation 1.17 and subparagraphs 1205(3)(ba)(i), (ii) and (iii) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’) hereby:

  1. SPECIFY the following post office box address for the purposes of subparagraph 1205(3)(ba)(i) of the Regulations:

[NOTE 1: Regulation 1.17 of the Regulations provides that the Minister may, by notice published in the Gazette, specify matters required by individual provisions of the Regulations to be specified for the purposes of those provisions.

NOTE 2: Paragraph 1205(3)(ba) of the Regulations provides that an application by a person seeking to meet the criteria for the grant of a Subclass 416 (Special Program) visa must be made by posting the application (with the correct pre-paid postage) to the post office box address specified in a Gazette Notice for subparagraph 1205(3)(ba)(i), having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified in a Gazette Notice for subparagraph 1205(3)(ba)(ii), or having the application sent by facsimilie to the address specified in a Gazette Notice for subparagraph 1205(3)(ba)(iii).]
