CLASS OF PERSONS

(Sub-subparagraph 1234(2)(a)(v)(A))

I, BRENDAN O’CONNOR, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under Sub-subparagraph 1234(2)(a)(v)(A) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

  1. REVOKE Instrument IMMI 12/087 signed on 9 November 2012, specifying a class of persons for the purposes of item 3 of the table in paragraph 1234(2)(a) of the Regulations; AND

  1. SPECIFY for the purposes of sub-subparagraph 1234(2)(a)(v)(A) of the Regulations the following class of persons:

(a)        Fulbright Scholars of the United States of America.

This instrument, IMMI 13/080, commences on 1 July 2013, immediately after the commencement of Migration Amendment (Visa Application Charge and Related Matters) Regulation 2013.
