CLASS OF PERSONS

(Subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(ii))

I, SOPHIE MONTGOMERY, delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(ii) of Schedule 1 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

1. REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 13/006, signed on 19 March 2013, specifying classes of persons for the purposes of subparagraphs 1218(1)(a)(ii) and 1218(1)(b)(ii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND

2.         SPECIFY the following class of persons for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(ii):

(a)        Persons who hold a passport issued by a country specified in column 2 of Schedule A and subject to the conditions (if any) specified in column 3 of Schedule A; and

(b)        Who make their application through the services of an agent who is party to an agreement with Immigration to use an Internet facility for offshore tourist visa applications.

This Instrument, IMMI 13/074, commences on 1 July 2013.
