SPECIFICATION OF A CLASS OF PERSONS FOR THE PURPOSES OF PARAGRAPH 1402(3)(a) AND ADDRESSES FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUBPARAGRAPHS 1402(3)(a)(i) AND (ii) OF THE MIGRATION REGULATIONS 1994
I, AMANDA VANSTONE, Minister for Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs, acting under regulation 1.17 and paragraph 1402(3)(a) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’) hereby:
REVOKE the instrument signed on 17 March 2005, made for the purposes of paragraph 1402(3) of the Regulations; AND
SPECIFY the following classes of persons for the purposes of paragraph 1402(3)(a) of the Regulations:
Class 1
Persons whose entry to Australia has been proposed in accordance with and who are present in the countries listed in Schedule A to this notice.
Class 2
Persons whose entry to Australia has been proposed in accordance with , and who are present in the countries listed in Schedule B to this notice.
3. SPECIFY the following post office box address, for a person included in Class 1, for the purposes of subparagraph 1402(3)(a)(i) of the Regulations:
