eVISITOR - ELIGIBLE PASSPORTS

I, CHRIS EVANS, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under regulation 1.11C of the Migration Regulations 1994 ("the Regulations"):

SPECIFY for regulation 1.11C of the Regulations, each of the kinds of passport set out in column 2 in the Schedule as an eVisitor-eligible passport in relation to an application for a visa if the conditions (if any) set out in column 3 for passports of that kind are satisfied in relation to that application.

This Instrument, (IMMI 08/100), takes effect on 27 October 2008.

[NOTE 1:      Regulation 1.11C provides that a passport is an eVisitor-eligible passport.  A passport in relation to an application for a visa if it is a valid passport of a kind specified by the Minister in an instrument in writing as an eVisitor-eligible passport, and the conditions (if any) specified in the instrument are satisfied in relation to that application.
