These Regulations are the
Migration (Liberia — United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 1343) Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 1) .
These Regulations commence on 1 July 2004.
3 Amendment of Migration (Liberia — United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 1343) Regulations 2001 Schedule 1 amends the
Migration (Liberia — United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 1343) Regulations 2001 .

omit the Resolution.
insert Resolution 1343.
[ 3 ] Regulation 3, definition of designated person , subparagraph (a) (iv)
omit and
[ 4 ] Regulation 3, definition of designated person , after subparagraph (a) (iv)
insert
(v) a member of the Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD);
(vi) a member of an armed rebel group determined by the Committee, in accordance with paragraph 28 of Resolution 1478, to be in violation of paragraph 5 of Resolution 1343; and
[ 5 ] Regulation 3, definition of designated person , paragraph (b)
omit the Resolution.
