I, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Ret’d), Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 3 of the table in subsection 2(1) of the Migration Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 2014, fix 1 January 2015 as the day on which Part 1 of Schedule 6 to that Act commences.
