1  Name

(1)     This instrument is the Migration (IMMI 18/042: Designated Migration Law, Subdivision B of Division 3A of Part 2) Instrument 2018.

(2)     This instrument may be cited as IMMI 18/042.

2  Commencement

(1)     Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under paragraph 495A(3)(b) of the Act.

4  Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Migration Act 1958.

Part 2 –Designated migration law

5  Designated migration law

For the purposes of paragraph 495A(3)(b) of the Act, Subdivision B of Division 3A of Part 2 of the Act is determined to be part of the designated migration law.
