Part 1 – Preliminary

1  Name

This instrument is the Migration (IMMI 17/075: Repeal of Training Benchmarks and Training Requirements) Instrument 2017.  It may be cited as IMMI 17/075. 

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on 1 July 2017.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraphs 2.59(d), 2.68(e), subregulations 2.87B(2), 2.87B(3), and sub-sub-subparagraph 5.19(4)(h)(i)(B)(I) of the Regulations.

4  Definitions

In this instrument:

Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.

5  Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
