Part 1 – Preliminary

1  Name

This instrument is the Migration (IMMI 17/037: Places and Currencies for Paying of Fees) Instrument 2017.  It may be cited as IMMI 17/037.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on 1 July 2017.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraphs 5.36(1)(a) and 5.36(1)(b) of Part 5 of the Migration Regulations 1994.

4  Definitions

In this instrument:

Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.

5 Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Part 2 – Places and Currencies

6  Places and Currencies for Paying of Fees

           For paragraphs 5.36(1)(a) and 5.36(1)(b) of the Regulations, the following table specifies:

(a)  A place where a payment of a fee (other than a visa application charge to which subregulation 5.36(3A) of the Regulations applies) must be made (Column A); and

(b)  A currency which a payment of a fee (other than a visa application charge to which subregulation 5.36(3A) of the Regulations applies) must be made in (Column B).

Repeal the instrument.
