1Name

This instrument is the Migration Amendment (Prospective Marriage Visas) Regulations 2021.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

At the end of Division 300.5 of Schedule 2

Add:

300.513

Despite clauses 300.511 and 300.512, the visa is a temporary visa permitting the holder to travel to, enter and remain in Australia until 31 December 2022 if:

1. (a)

   the visa was in effect on 15 September 2021; and

2. (b)

   the holder is outside Australia on 15 September 2021.
