1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Migration Agents Amendment Regulations 2006 (No. 1).

1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on 1 July 2006.

1. Amendment of Migration Agents Regulations 1998

Schedule 1 amends the Migration Agents Regulations 1998.

1. Transitional

The amendments made by Schedule 1 apply in relation to an application to be registered as a registered migration agent that is made on or after 1 July 2006.
