PASS MARKS AND POOL MARKS IN RELATION TO APPLICATIONS FOR

GSM SKILLED VISAS (CLASSES VE, VC, VF AND VB)

(SUBSECTIONS 96(1) AND 96(2))

I, KEVIN ANDREWS, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under regulation 1.17 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’) and subsections 96(1) and 96 (2) of the Migration Act 1958 (‘the Act’), hereby specify:

1. The pass mark for the purposes of the Act and the Regulations in relation to the following applications:

  • Skilled (Migrant) (Class VE) Independent Subclass 175 visas is 120 points.

  • Skilled (Migrant) (Class VE) Sponsored Subclass 176 visas is 100 points.

  • Skilled (Provisional) (Class VC) Regional – Sponsored Subclass 487 visas is 100 points.

  • Skilled (Provisional) (Class VF) Regional – Sponsored Subclass 475 visas is 100 points.

  • Skilled (Residence) (Class VB) Independent Subclass 885 visas is 120 points.

  • Skilled (Residence) (Class VB) Sponsored Subclass 886 visas is 100 points.

  1. The pool mark for the purposes of the Act and the Regulations in relation to the following applications:

  • Skilled (Migrant) (Class VE) Independent Subclass 175 visas is 100 points.

  • Skilled (Migrant) (Class VE) Sponsored Subclass 176 visas is 80 points.

  • Skilled (Provisional) (Class VC) Regional – Sponsored Subclass 487 visas is 100 points.

  • Skilled (Provisional) (Class VF) Regional – Sponsored Subclass 475 visas is 100 points.

  • Skilled (Residence) (Class VB) Independent Subclass 885 visas is 120 points.

  • Skilled (Residence) (Class VB) Sponsored Subclass 886 visas is 100 points.

This Instrument, IMMI 07/056, commences on 1 September 2007.
