DETERMINATION UNDER SECTION 85 OF THE MIGRATION ACT 1958

DETERMINATION OF MAXIMUM NUMBER OF AGED PARENT (RESIDENCE) (CLASS BP) VISAS THAT MAY BE GRANTED IN THE 2004/2005 FINANCIAL YEAR

I, PETER MCGAURAN, Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, acting under regulation 1.17 of the Migration Regulations 1994 and section 85 of the Migration Act 1958 hereby:

DETERMINE that the maximum number of Aged Parent (Residence) (Class BP) Visas that may be granted in the financial year 1 July 2004 to 30 June 2005 is 320.
