Migration (1993) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Migration Act 1958.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Migration (1993) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule 2, Chapter 1.3 (Permanent resident (refugee and humanitarian) visas and entry permits)

2.1   Clause 208.333:

Omit “4006, 4009 and 4010”, substitute “4004 and 4007 to 4010”.

2.2   Paragraph 208.337 (1) (b):

Omit “4005 and 4006”, substitute “4007 and 4008”.

2.3   Paragraph 208.337 (2) (b):

Omit “4005 and 4006”, substitute “4007 and 4008”.

2.4   Clause 209.334:

Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

• “(i)

  public interest criteria 4007 and 4008, if the application is for a Group 1.3 visa; or”.
