1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Mid-Western Regional Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Amendment No

24).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to land to which clause 6.10 of Mid-Western Regional Local

Environmental Plan 2012 applies, being land shown as “Visually Sensitive Land” on

the Mid-Western Regional Local Environmental Plan 2012 Visually Sensitive Land

Map.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Mid-Western Regional Local Environmental Plan 2012 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the local plan-making authority on the making of this Plan.

5 Amendment of Mid-Western Regional Local Environmental Plan 2012

Clause 6.10 Visually sensitive land near Mudgee

Omit “upper slopes on the urban fringe south” from clause 6.10(1).

Insert instead “land on the urban fringe”.

(2)

Clause 6.10(3)(b)

Omit the paragraph. Insert instead—

(b)

will be designed, set back and sited to respond sympathetically to the landform of the site on which the development is proposed to be carried out and will minimise visual intrusion.
