MICHAEL CALVERT COOK
v
THE QUEEN
[2017] HCASL 80
M130/2016
The application does not raise any question of general importance, nor are the interests of the administration of justice engaged by it. An appeal to this Court would have insufficient prospects of succeeding to warrant the grant of special leave. Hence, it would be futile to grant the extension of time that is sought. Special leave is refused.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
