Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage and

Drainage Amendment By-laws 2005

Made by the Minister under section 34(1) of the Act.

1.           Citation

These by-laws are the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage and Drainage Amendment By-laws 2005.

2.            The by-laws amended

The amendments in these by-laws are to the Metropolitan Water
Supply, Sewerage and Drainage By-laws 1981*.

3.            By-law 6.2 amended

(1) By-law 6.2.1 is amended as follows:

(a)	by deleting the full stop after paragraph (j) and inserting instead a semicolon;
(b)	by inserting after paragraph (j) the following paragraph —

" Standards Australia ";

(k) The sale of the water by a person who holds an

operating licence under Part 3 of the Water

Services Licensing Act 1995.

(2) By-law 6.2.5 is repealed.

4. By-law 28.6 amended
By-law 28.6.2(a)(i) is amended as follows:

(a) in item (A) by deleting "the Standards Association of

Australia" and inserting instead —

(b) in item (B) by deleting "the Standards Association of

Australia" and "that Association" and inserting instead
in each place —
" Standards Australia "

5.            By-law 31.4 amended

By-law 31.4.2 is amended by deleting "$20.00" and inserting instead —

" $50.00 ".
