AN ACT to amend the Metropolitan Water Supply,

Sewerage, and Drainage Act, 1909-1968.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage Act Amend- ment Act, 1969.

2. Paragraph (b) of subsection (3) of section to s. 90 (Land

being the last word in subsection (10) thepassage "but where after the coming into

operation of the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage Act Amendment Act, 1969, the Board raises a loan by the issue of debentures or the creation and issue of inscribed stock pursuant to subsection (4) of this section, the Board is not required to establish and maintain a sinking fund for the purpose of redeeming the loan".

4. Subsection (2) of section one hundred and to
