AN ACT to amend the Metropolitan Water Supply,

Sewerage and Drainage Act, 1909-1941.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent of the Legislative Council and the LegislativeMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same. as follows:—

short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Metropolitan

Water Supply, Sewerage and Drainage Act Amend-

ment Act, 1951, and shall be read as one with the

Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage and Drainage Act, 1909-1941 (Act No. 43 of 1909 as reprinted with amendments to and including Act No. 2 of 1941 incorporated pursuant to the provisions of the Amendments Incorporation Act, 1938, as approved for reprint on the 21st February, 1950) referred to in this Act as the principal Act.

3.    Section ninety-four of the principal Act is :aided.

amended by

(a)	substituting for the words "one shilling and sixpence" in line one of paragraph (i) of subsection (2), the words "two shillings";
(b)	substituting for the word "threepence" in line one of paragraph (ii) of subsection (2), the word "fourpence";
(c)	substituting for the word "fivepence" in line one of paragraph (i) of subsection (3), the word "sixpence";
(d)	substituting for the words "five-sixths of a penny" in line one of paragraph (ii) of subsection (3), the words "one penny";
(e)	substituting for the words "ten shillings" in line five of subsection (4) the words "one pound";
(f)	substituting for the words "seven shillings and sixpence" in lines six and seven of subsection (4) the words "one pound";
(g)	substituting for the words "two shillings and sixpence" in lines seven and eight of subsection (4) the words "five shillings".
