[ASSENTED TO 10TH NOVEMBER, 1949.] B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Short title 1. This Act may be cited as "The Metropolitan and . Water Supply and Sewerage Acts Amendment Act of constructlOn. 1949," and shall be read as one with *" The Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Acts, 1909 to 1945," herein referred to as the Principal Act. For the purposes of the taking by the Council under the authority of this subsection of lands without the district, all of the provisions of *" The Oity of Brisbane Improvement Act of 1916," as amended by and for the purposes of t" The Oity of Brisbane Acts, 1924 to 1949," shall, subject to any necessary adaptations, apply and extend as if those lands were situated within the district." 271 An Act to Authorise the Construction of Dams on 13 GEO.
