(1.) In subsection one of section 85B of the Amendmen t Principal Act, after the words "under this Act" the of 8. 85B. following words are inserted :-" prior to the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four: Provided that as between themselves debentures and inscribed stock issued under this Act on or after the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty- four, shall rank pari passu so that no debentures or stock in any such issue shall have priority over any debentures or stock in any other such issue. * 9 Edw. The following provision is added to the said subsection one:- "Debentures so issued after the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, shall be styled" Brisbane 'Water Supply and Sewerage Debentures." Amendment 3. In subsection three of section 850 of the Principal of s. 850. Act, after the words "under this Act" the following words are inserted :-" prior to the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four: Provided that as between themselves inscribed stock and debentures issued under this Act on or after the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, shall rank pari passu so that no stock or debentures in any such issue sha1l have priority oyer any stock or debentures in any other such issue." 4. After section 850 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted :- Debentures "[85D.] Notwithstanding anything in this Act con- at a nkd e s p to rI ? O k rI . 1Jy tained, debentures and inscribed stock issued under this over Act, whether before or on or after the first day of ! ~ ~ ~: : !~ r~~ ~ October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-fonr, shall be a charge upon all the rates and revenues of the Board, howsoever arising, in priority to any claims or demands of the Treasurer in respect of any loan or advance by the Treasurer to the Board under section eighty-one or section eighty-two of this Act." Amendment 5. The following prOVISIOn is added to subsection of s. 136. five of section one hundred and thirty-six of the Principal Act :- "N 0 such amendment or rescission shall, however, affect any right, obligation, or liability acquired, accrued, or incurred under any such last-mentioned Order in Council."
