An Act to amend the Metropolitan Water, Sewerage, and Drainage Act, 1924, and certain other Acts in certain respects; to validate certain matters; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 7th January, 1946.]

| the same, as follows :— | ||
| 1 . (1) This Act may be cited as the "Metropolitan Water, Sewerage, and Drainage (Amendment) Act, | ||
| ||
| Drainage Act, 1924, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Metropolitan Water, Sewerage, and Drainage Act, 1924-1945. | ||
| 2 . (1) The Metropolitan Water, Sewerage, and Drainage Act, 1924-1944, is amended by inserting next after subsection four of section nineteen the following new subsection:— |
| (2) Subsection one of this section shall be deemed to have commenced on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five. | M E D I C A L |
(5) The office of vice-president of the board shall not be deemed to be employment within the meaning of paragraph (a) of subsection two of section eight of the Public Service Act, 1902, as amended by subsequent Acts.
