AN ACT to amend the Metropolitan Region Town

Planning Scheme Act, 1959-1966.

[Assented to 18th November, 1968.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and citation.	1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Metropolitan Region Town Planning Scheme Act Amendment Act (No. 2 ), 1968.
(2) In this Act the Metropolitan Region Town Planning Scheme Act, 1959-1966 is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Metropolitan Region Town Planning Scheme Act, 1959-1968.

2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into ment.

acquired by the Authority under and for the purposes of this Act while the Authority is the owner of the land, but if any such land is leased by the Authority, the Authority shall pay in respect thereof out of the rent received there- from by the Authority, the whole or such portion of the amount of any rate, tax, or assessment that would but for this section have been imposed, levied, charged or made on the land so leased, as the Authority certifies in writing to be available for the purpose. .
