METROPOLITAN MARKET TRUST

(LAND REVESTMENT)

No. 11 of 1940.

AN ACT to divest certain Lands from the Metropoli- tan Market Trust and to make provision for vesting the same in the City of Perth for the purpose of widening Wellington street, Perth.

[Assented to 24th October, 1940.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in tins present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Metropolitan Market short title:.

Trust (Land Revestment) Act, 1940.

2. All that piece or portion of land, being portion of

the Laud Act, 1898, and registered in the Office of Land Titles in certificate of title volume 1028, folio 424, is hereby revested in His Majesty the King as of his former estate.

declare land	3. Upon the city of Perth giving to the Governor an

street, Perth,	control, and maintain the said land hereby revested in
and same
shall vest in	His Majesty and will at its expense form and construct
city of Pertb.	the road and footpath thereon as an integral part of Wellington street, it shall be lawful for the Governor, by notice in the Government Gazette, to declare the land hereby revested in His Majesty, to be added to and incor- porated in, and to be part of, Wellington street afore- said, whereupon the said land shall for all purposes become and be an integral part of Wellington street aforesaid and vest in the city of Perth accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

All that portion of Perth lot 647, containing 11 3/10ths perches, bounded by lines starting from a point on the north-eastern alignment of Wellington street and situate 290 degrees 48 minutes 300 4/10ths links from the southernmost corner of said lot and extending 20 degrees 48 minutes 36 4/10ths links; thence 290 degrees 48 minutes 194 links; thence 200 degrees 48 minutes 36 4/10ths links to said alignment, and thence 110 degrees 48 minutes along same 194 links to the starting point. All bearings are true or thereabouts and measurements more or less.
