Metropolitan Health Service Amendment

By-laws 2014

Made under section 22 of the Act by the Minister in his capacity as the
board of each Hospital as defined in the Metropolitan Health Service
By-laws 2008 by-law 3.

1.             Citation

These by-laws are the Metropolitan Health Service Amendment
By-laws 2014.

2.             Commencement

These by-laws come into operation as follows —

(a) by-laws 1 and 2 — on the day on which these by-laws are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the by-laws — on the day fixed under the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             By-laws amended

These by-laws amend the Metropolitan Health Service
By-laws 2008.

4.             By-law 3 amended

(1) In by-law 3 delete the definition of registered owner.

(2) In by-law 3 insert in alphabetical order:

responsible person, for a vehicle, means the person
responsible for the vehicle under the Road Traffic

(Administration) Act 2008 section 6;

(3) In by-law 3 in the definition of vehicle delete “same meaning as
in the Road Traffic Act 1974.” and insert:
meaning given in the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008
section 4.

5.             By-law 11 amended

In by-law 11 in the definition of alleged offender delete
“registered owner of ” and insert:

responsible person for

6.             By-law 16 amended

Delete by-law 16(a) and insert:

(a) the driver of, responsible person for, or person in charge of, the vehicle; or

7.             Schedule 4 amended

In Schedule 4 Form 1:

(a) delete “owner of ” and insert:

responsible person for
