Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Metropolitan Adelaide Road Widening Plan

Regulations 1992.

Commencement

2. These regulations will come into operation on 1 January 1992.

Interpretation

3. In these regulations—

"the Act" means the Metropolitan Adelaide Road Widening Plan Act 1972:

"the Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Highways appointed by or pursuant to the

Highways Act 1926.

Application for consent

4. An application for the consent of the Commissioner under the Act must be in the form set

out in the schedule.

Note:

1.       Three (3) copies of plans and specifications, describing fully the nature and extent of the proposal, must be forwarded with this application.

2.       The Act requires that the consent of the Commissioner of Highways must be obtained for any building work on land to which the Act applies.

3.       The Act applies to all land shown on the Metropolitan Adelaide Road Widening Plan as possibly required for road widening and all land within six metres of the boundary of that land.
