Act N o . 175 , 1978 .
An Act to make corrections to the Metric Conversion Act, 1978.
[Assented to, 29th December, 1978.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1. This Act may be cited as the "Metric Conversion
(Amendment) Act, 1978".
2 . The Metric Conversion Act, 1978, is amended—
(a) by omitting from section 4 (1) the matter "5, 6 and 7" and by inserting instead the matter "6, 7 and 8"; (b) by omitting from section 4 (2) the matter "5" and by inserting instead the matter "6" ; (c) by omitting from section 4 (3) the matter "6" and by inserting instead the matter "7" ; (d) by omitting from section 4 (4) the matter "7" and by inserting instead the matter "8" .
