Merit Protection (Australian Government

Employees) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Merit Protection (Australian Government Employees) Act 1984.

Appropriate organisation for the purposes of paragraph 33 (c) of the Act

Regulation 9 of the Merit Protection (Australian Government Employees) Regulations is amended by inserting in subregulation (1) “or Part II or III of the Legislative Assembly (Members’ Staff) Act 1989 of the Australian Capital Territory” after “Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984.
