Mental Health (Fees) Regulations 1996

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these regulations is to increase the fee payable by a patient receiving accommodation or care from a psychiatric in-patient service operated by the Chief General Manager.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 142 of the Mental Health Act 1986.

3. Fee for long term psychiatric in-patient service

For Schedule 22 to the 1Mental Health
Regulations 1987 substitute—

Mental Health (Fees) Regulations 1996
