Mental Health Amendment Regulations 2011

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Mental Health Amendment
Regulations 2011.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Mental Health Regulations 1997.

4.             Regulation 4 amended

(1) Delete regulation 4(2)(a) and insert:

(a) is a person whose name is entered on

Division 1 of the Register of Nurses kept under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia) as a registered nurse; and

(2) In regulation 4(3) delete the definition of nurse and insert:

nurse means a person registered under the Health
Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western

Australia) in the nursing and midwifery profession.
