Mental Health Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 2013

Mental Health Act 2007

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Mental Health Act 2007.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Mental Health Regulation 2007 to increase (from $90 to $95) the fees payable in relation to an application for a licence for a private mental health facility and the annual licence for such a facility.
The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (adjusted
to the nearest $5).
This Regulation is made under the Mental Health Act 2007, including sections 115 (2) (b),

118 (b) and 196 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Mental Health Amendment (Fees) Regulation
2013.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Mental Health Regulation 2007

Clauses 16 and 17

Omit “$90” wherever occurring. Insert instead “$95”.
