An Act to amend the Mental Health Amendment Act 2005

[Royal Assent 24 November 2011]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Mental Health Amendment Act 2011 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Mental Health Amendment Act 2005 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 19 amended (Expiry) Section 19(1) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "6 years and 6 months" and substituting "8 years and 6 months". 5Repeal of ActThis Act is repealed on the ninetieth day from the day on which it commences.
