Mendonca v Legal Services Commissioner

Case

[2020] HCASL 206

MENDONCA

v

LEGAL SERVICES COMMISSIONER

[2020] HCASL 206
S142/2020

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from two decisions of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. An extension of time is required for this application to proceed. The application does not identify any reason to doubt the correctness of the decisions of the Court of Appeal. Further, the second decision concerns matters of practice and procedure unsuitable for a grant of special leave to appeal. It would therefore be futile to grant an extension of time. The application should be dismissed.

  2. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
